Shortly after I was born my parents put me in a hammock (their idea of a car seat) that was strung between the roll bar of a Toyota Land Cruiser (see image to the right) and drove from Philadelphia to Taos. It was on this trip that my parents declared that they would someday move to Taos.

After growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and graduating from Lafayette College I returned to Taos (sans the hammock). Maybe it was fate. I spent four years being a 'ski enthusiasts'. Ultimately, I realized that I needed to take the next step as becoming a professional extreme skier was not in the cards. UNM's Business School was logical progression for me. With six months to kill before classes started I moved to St. John where I met a bar owner/web entrepreneur. From this experience came the idea for www.nmbars.com which was launched following my graduation and ultimately morphed into what is now www.999dine.com . In 2007 I was ready for a new challenge and started working for Maestas and Ward as a commercial real estate advisor. I am grateful to have a career that I love and to live in such a beautiful state.

My parents live in Taos, NM where my father, a master woodworker and recently recognized living legend, does commissioned legacy furniture for clients nationwide (www.taoswoodshop.com). My mother is a docent at the Milicent Rogers Museum and works with both my father and I in keeping our businesses going in the right direction. My sister and her husband live in Denver and we cherish that we can all see each other on a regular basis.
